Anchor Steam – California
A hybrid. A lager brewed with ale yeasts. Well
balanced only lightly hoppy.
I would call this a malty beer. Very easy way to introduce light
beer drinkers to more flavor
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale – California
The beer that defines California Pales. Sierra
still uses whole flower hops instead of pellets.
Copper color, medium body, lots of floral cascade hops, almost vegetal.
