So You Want to Have a Party?
Well, you’ve come to the right place.
Before Evan opened Angeli she catered. Catering is how she put herself through school. So since the first day Angeli opened in 1984 we’ve been helping clients entertain with ease and within their budget.
The hundreds of events we cater take many forms, from intimate sit down dinners to elaborate buffet parties to trendy cocktail parties for as many as 1,000 guests. Lately we seem to be doing a lot of weddings for couples who do not have unlimited budgets. There is no better feeling than to be a part of that most special of days.

Our Food
Angeli food is the kind of simple, rustic Italian fare that most of us would prefer to eat most of the time. With simplicity comes adaptability, and the backbone for creating food that matches the size, formality and budget of any occasion. Angeli food is equally at home at a casual afternoon brunch for a few friends, at a boardroom lunch for 20 or at an evening wedding for 200. But if you’ve ever been to one of our Thursday Night Dinners you know that Evan and Kathy (our chef) go beyond Italian food. We’re also known for our Indian, Mexican and Mediterranean menus.
Every Party is Unique
We look at every party as a unique event that should reflect the personality of the host. Our catering manager Ivana will work with you to evaluate your needs, then translate them into customized food and service. Additional Services
In addition to providing the food for your event, Angeli Catering can organize all other aspects of your party, such as staff, rental ordering, special decorations, flowers, dance floors and tents. We will take care of all the legwork for you if so desired.
Staff
When kitchen and service staff are required for a smooth party, Angeli can arrange for professional, well-trained staff to be there.
The hourly rate for chefs and catering managers is $30, with a five hour minimum. The hourly rate for assistant chefs is $25, with a five hour minimum. Bartenders, wait staff and kitchen assistants are $20, with a five hour minimum. A 20% gratuity will be added to the final staff invoice. We do not add a service fee to your total invoice as many caterers do.
Rentals
Angeli Catering can also order all of the serviceware and equipment you may need for your party. The rental company that we use will then contact you with an estimate for costs and discuss payment, delivery and pick up times. You will be billed directly by the rental company.
We will be happy to assist you with any other specialty services you may need.
Some Tips for Planning
When planning a large event such as a wedding be aware that often the cost of rentals and service will equal and occasionally surpass the cost of the food depending on your set up and decor. For that reason we suggest an email conversation with Evan or Ivana to assess your rental needs first. That way you will know how much of your budget you have left to spend on food and service.
